An annual tuition fee of Rs. 31,200/- is prescribed by the State Government for students admitted through EAMCET counseling.

A maximum tuition fee of Rs. 91,700/- is prescribed for students seeking admission under Management Quota (Category: B seats).

 

(ii) MCA Course:

 

An annual tuition fee of Rs. 27,000/- is prescribed by the State Government for students admitted through ICET counseling.

A maximum tuition fee of Rs. 73,100/- is prescribed for students seeking admission under Management Quota (Category: B seats).

(iii) MBA Course:

 

An annual tuition fee of Rs. 27,000/- is prescribed by the State Government for students admitted through ICET counseling.

(b) Time Schedule for payment of fee for the entire programme

 

   At the time of admission, the tuition fee for First Year is collected by the Convenor, EAMCET and the Convenor, ICET and          the same will be sent to the college later on. However, for subsequent years, the students are given one month of time,         after reopening of the college, to pay the tuition fee.

X. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

 

      (a) The Admission test being followed, name and address of the Test Agency and its URL:

 

          Common entrance tests for the state of A.P namely, Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine Common Entrance Test      (EAMCET) for admission into B. Tech. Courses and ICET for admission into MCA Course are conducted by the State Government.  The URL of conducting agencies is, respectively, http://www.apsche.ac.in .

 

      (b) Number of seats allotted to Test Qualified Candidates:

 

75% of the sanctioned seats are filled by the Government strictly based on the rank obtained in EAMCET (for B. Tech.)   and ICET (for MCA) examination and following the rules of reservations. The remaining 25% of seats are filled by the Management.

 

      (c) Calendar for Admission against management / vacant seats:

 

                   The last date for filling up the Management/ vacant seats will be notified by the State Government of A.P.

 

 

XI. CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION

 

      (a) Criteria for Admission and weightages of Admission Test, marks in qualifying examination:

 

(i) B. Tech. Course: The candidates should pass in Intermediate (+2) examination, for to be eligible to appear for    EAMCET examination. The candidate should qualify in EAMCET examination and secure a rank. The admission is based on solely   an EAMCET rank and no weightage is given for the marks in qualifying exam.

 

(ii) MCA Course: The candidates should pass in any degree (10+2+3) examination, for to be eligible to appear for        ICET examination. The candidate should qualify in ICET examination and secure a rank. The admission is based on solely            an ICET rank and no weightage is given for the marks in qualifying exam.

(iii) MBA Course: The candidates should pass in any degree (10+2+3) examination, for to be eligible to appear for        ICET examination. The candidate should qualify in ICET examination and secure a rank. The admission is based on solely            an ICET rank and no weightage is given for the marks in qualifying exam.

 

      (b) Minimum level of acceptance: A minimum of 25% of marks in entrance examination should be obtained.

 

      (c) Cutoff levels of percentage & percentile scores of the candidates in the admission test:

 

          All EAMCET and ICET qualified students are eligible for admission.

 

      (d) Marks scored in Test and in aggregate for all candidates who were admitted:

 

          Marks scored by the students in EAMCET and ICET examinations are available with the concerned conveners only.

          For Category-A seats, the application form is issued by the concerned EAMCET and ICET conveners.

 

          For Category-B seats (Management quota), the downloadable application form is hosted on the college website.

           As the number of students seeking admission under management quota was limited, no separate test was conducted      and admissions were made on their marks in Intermediate / EAMCET and ICET performance as per guidelines of the               State Government.

 (a)  Workshop:

 Games and Sports Facilities: Indoor games facilities are provided with Table Tennis, Carroms, Chess etc., and outdoor games     like Volley Ball, Tenni-coit, Shuttle etc. are provided.

Extra Curriculum Activities: The students are encouraged to actively participate in various extra curriculum activities,              like participating in Paper Contest programmes conducted by various colleges, group discussion, technical quiz programmes,           extempore, debate, essay writing, seminars etc. through out the year. The institution has adopted a practice of inviting           the eminent and elite personalities in various fields of engineering and management to deliver expert lectures for the benefit of the students. 

Soft Skill Development Facilities: The institution is specially focusing on improving the communication and soft skills of the students and to train up the students to confidently face the interviews. The institution has already registered for Jawahar Knowledge Centre (JKC) – a State Government Organization – that imparts training to the students in communication and soft skills for the rest of 3 years.
